Iran and Oman close to an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz

According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, negotiations between Iran and Oman regarding a new shipping agreement for the Strait of Hormuz are nearing completion. The deal could create a new shipping route through this strategically important waterway.
