Syria: Explosion in suburb of Damascus leaves two dead and many injured
A detonated explosive device near Damascus has resulted in two fatalities and numerous injuries.

Near the Syrian capital Damascus, an explosion of an explosive device has claimed the lives of at least two people. This information was reported by Deutschlandfunk.
At the same time, France 24 reported on a separate explosion in a minibus in the suburb of Jaramana, injuring 14 individuals, including three seriously. The Syrian Health Minister addressed the injuries on Friday and warned of the life-threatening conditions of some victims.
The minibus explosion reportedly occurred in a busy area, leading to the high number of injuries. Residents reported a loud bang and the ensuing chaotic scene that unfolded in the area.
