Zelensky claims Russia depends on North Korean reinforcements

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that for the first time, Russia is unable to conduct its military operations without support from North Korea. This assertion comes amid recent escalations in the conflict.

Zelensky called for assistance from Japan and South Korea, focusing primarily on air defense, to combat the challenges posed by this new dynamic of military support.

Furthermore, Zelensky accused Russia of using ballistic missiles provided by North Korea in an airstrike that resulted in the deaths of six people in the city of Zaporizhzhia, in southeastern Ukraine.

Regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported the bombing and raised alarms about the situation in the area, posting images of a burning building due to the attack.

The use of North Korean missiles and the reinforcement of troops indicate a shift in Russia's military methods in Ukraine, bolstering the perception of strategic alliances among countries.

Zelensky stressed the seriousness of the situation and reiterated the importance of international cooperation to meet these new challenges.
