Virginia Fonseca steps down as drum queen of Grande Rio

Virginia Fonseca, a well-known influencer, announced on Wednesday (12) her decision to leave the position of drum queen of the samba school Grande Rio. In a social media post, she mentioned that this choice came after a period of reflection.

Fonseca emphasized that changes in her routine and the need to dedicate more time to her children and her businesses influenced this decision. She expressed that she would not be able to perform her duties halfway, which motivated her departure.

The influencer had a prominent role in Grande Rio, actively participating in the Carnival festivities. Her decision was announced amid preparations for the next edition of the event, which will take place in 2027.
