TSE clarifies Flávio Bolsonaro's affiliation with the Missão party

The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) denied that Senator Flávio Bolsonaro's affiliation with the Missão party was the result of a hacking attack. In a statement released on Thursday (13), the TSE clarified that the inclusion of Flávio Bolsonaro's name in the party was due to the improper use of the registration tool by someone who had the party's credentials.

The TSE also informed that the senator was unable to register his candidacy for the presidency after his affiliation with the Missão party was listed in the electoral justice records. This situation prevented him from registering his candidacy until the issue was resolved.

Following the investigation, TSE President Minister Kassio Nunes Marques ordered that Flávio Bolsonaro's affiliation with the PL (Liberal Party) be reinstated. This decision was implemented on the same date, with the politician's return to the PL already reflected in the court's system.
