Stage costume made from recycled plastic at the Arena di Verona

At the Arena di Verona, the Opera Festival presents a stage costume made from recycled plastic. This project is the result of a collaboration with S. Bernardo, the festival's official water.

The costume, worn by the gong musician in the masterpiece Turandot, is made from reused bottles, transforming waste into an artistic work. The gong musician is an emblematic character, appearing to mark the time before the performances of the opera.

The entirely sustainable costume emphasizes the importance of waste reduction and respect for the environment, demonstrating how recovered materials can find new life in an artistic context.
