New Regulations Implemented for Highway Ambulances

New regulations have been introduced for highway ambulances, requiring them to reach a crash site within 10 minutes of receiving an emergency alert. According to NDTV, ambulances must start moving within two minutes after the alert and are required to transport an accident victim to the nearest hospital within an hour.

Failure to comply with these new timelines may result in penalties of up to Rs 10,000 per incident, as reported by The Times of India. These measures aim to improve emergency response times and enhance patient care on highways.
