Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit, will remain under house arrest with an ankle monitor for another month. This was determined by a court in Oslo on Monday.

The extension of the house arrest stems from concerns within the judiciary about the potential for recurrence of undesirable behaviors. Authorities fear that he may offend again if released.

Høiby has indicated that he will do everything possible to demonstrate that there is no risk of reoffending, according to various reports.

The court has ruled that he must remain at the royal estate for the time being, where he is to wear the ankle monitor.
