Apollo acquires Easyjet for around €6.6 billion
US investment firm Apollo is purchasing the British airline Easyjet for approximately €6.6 billion, equivalent to about £5.7 billion.

US private equity firm Apollo Global Management has announced its acquisition of the British airline Easyjet. The company is valued at approximately €6.6 billion, with Apollo set to pay £7.15 per share in cash.
According to De Telegraaf, founder and major shareholder Stelios Haji-Ioannou supports the takeover bid, which is drawing attention in the aviation industry. The acquisition is seen as a significant step in the consolidation of the low-cost airline market.
