Germany approves an initial pension for children from age 6

The German government will implement a monthly pension of 10 euros for children, promoting retirement savings.

The German government has approved a new measure known as the 'early start pension,' which will provide all children from the age of six with an initial capital of 10 euros per month. This state support will be available until the young people turn 18, with the aim of encouraging retirement savings.

According to the government, this initiative could allow children to accumulate around 53,000 euros for their retirement without the need for additional contributions, thereby promoting financial planning from an early age.
