Flooding Hits Several Areas in Metro Manila on August 12
Continuous rains have caused flooding in various parts of Metro Manila, as reported by the MMDA.

After experiencing a brief respite from flooding, several areas in Metro Manila faced renewed inundation due to heavy rainfall on Wednesday. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that the southwest monsoon, also known as 'habagat', contributed to the flooding conditions in the region.
As of 2:04 p.m. on Wednesday, areas such as Valenzuela City were reported to have gutter-high water levels, with flooding reaching up to 8 inches in some locations. The situation remains under assessment by local authorities as they monitor the ongoing weather conditions.
