Fatin (26) dies while attempting to reach Ceuta for European dream

Fatin Ben Homar Azizi, 26, dreamed of playing professional football in Europe. However, seeing few opportunities for her future in Morocco, she was driven to attempt the crossing to Ceuta.
At the beginning of July, Fatin and her family tried to travel from Morocco to Ceuta. Fatin was determined and expressed her desire not to remain in poverty. Unfortunately, she did not survive the perilous journey.
